Hip-Hop producer extraordinaire, Swizz Beatz, reportedly owes Uncle Sam more than $2.6 million in unpaid taxes, according to the New York Post.
Beatz, whose actual name is Kasseem Dean, has a lien against him that was filed by New York State for 2010 taxes that remain unpaid to the tune of $98,246.18.
The owner of his own record label, Full Surface, Mr. Alicia Keys also reportedly has federal tax liens against that add up to $2.6 million.
The 34-year-old’s latest tax money woes are not the only ones he has faced. Back in 2008, he also reportedly fell behind in his taxes, owing $652,727 to the IRS.
Baby momma drama has also plagued Swizz Beatz. The super-producer, whose name has been linked to such hit-makers as Dr. Dre, Kanye West and Chris Brown, among other chart-toppers, has fathered four children with four different women. Just last year, he settled a support case involving a child he had with a Russian singer. The baby momma, Zhanna Andrianova, and their 3-year-old little girl live in Russia and Beatz agreed to a settlement and the payment of her legal fees which came to $42,000.
Beatz, who ranked 16 on the Forbes annual ‘Hip-Hop Cash Kings’ raking in at least $7 million a year, has also been sued for child support/alimony by ex-wife Mashonda Dean. Beatz was still married to Mashonda when rumors began surfacing that he and wife Keys were having an extra-marital affair.
What a real catch!
